Clean, good service, typical tasty buffet, some mediocre sushi available, no extra charge

Awesome. Definitely worth the ride from Farmville. Service was great. Food was fresh, tasty, wide variety especially on the buffet. The buffet was constantly being refilled. Reasonably priced. Place was immaculate. Will definitely be returning!

I've been going here to eat since they have opened. The food hasn't been as good lately. I took my daughter there this evening and the waitresses were arguing with each other in front of the whole restaurant which was packed. The food was ok but I've had better. The prices are really good though.

Great service and great food. Left restaurant very satisfied. Variety of food on buffet. Dessert buffet was a bit sparse and not appetizing at all.

I was not impressed. The food was not very tasty. There was not a big selection of food on the buffet. The spoons for the dessert bar looked dirty. The waitress only took our drink order and we had to track her down for refills. She never even came to take the used plates away. We got three buffets which came to a little over $30 which wouldn’t have been bad if the food and service was better. I won’t be going back. Sorry

Their buffet was very good! All the food was fresh and hot. They don't have a huge buffet like most places but still had enough items to make me fully satisfied.

The customer service was really good, however, ordered rice thinking that you couldn't go wrong with rice. Boy was I wrong! The rice was boring, it had no UUUMMPHHH. Chunks of onions, chunks of uncooked veggies... like it was an after thought. Passing through, should've just passed by.

Always great food, highly underrated restaurant! While the buffet is fresh and maintained well, their take out is even better! Very polite and efficient service.

We enjoyed our lunch. The buffet had plenty of choices even though we were enjoying a late lunch. There was only one other customer in the restaurant while we were there and I felt like the waitress was impatient for us to leave. We will be back. It was very good

I was never here. But. As usual, google thinks I was. So, I'm taking a moment to say, I think it smelled good from outside. Or was that the perfume of the lady that walked past me...she smelled like Generals Chicken. 😉

Golden China is a great place to get local Chinese food in Appomattox. They have a wide variety of choices and the owner, Bill, is very nice. They also have a buffet option with a lot of different food. I would definitely recommend coming here.
